This master thesis deals with a choice of suitable strategy for entering the eastern market for K.L.M company. In theoretical part of thesis, there is described a meaning of international trade and international marketing. Practical part consists of an analysis of internal and external factors of examined company, on which the choice of specific market for expansion including the form of entering is based. At the end of the thesis, there is also an analysis of risks which can influence entering foreign market.

The thesis analyses the conditions of entry of the company ALTA Invest, a.s. to the Russian market and, using the generalization method, provides insight to Czech companies as to how they themselves can enter foreign markets. In the theoretical part, attention is given to the mapping of institutional support and various forms of entry into foreign markets. In the practical part, the company ALTA Invest, a.s., one of the most important Czech manufacturing engineering companies which are active in the Eastern markets, is characterized and a SWOT analysis of the Russian market is carried out.
Access of Czech companies to the CIS market with focus on the Russian Federation

This bachelor thesis focuses on requirements of accessing and doing business in the Russian market for Czech companies. The theoretical part is devoted to the description of bilateral trade between the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation, Saint-Petersburg and the Leningrad region. At the same time it addresses perspective fields of business for Czech exporters. Furthermore, it analyses business environment in Russia, its advantages and disadvantages. It describes the customs issue and marginally covers the entrance of Russia in WTO. Finally, this thesis deals with the state support of Czech entrepreneurs exporting to the Russian Federation. The practical part is based on the assessment of business environment and customs clearance in Russia by selected Czech companies. Moreover, it assesses the contribution of state support to Czech exporters and suggests possible improvements of this support.

The goal is to explore the investment attractiveness of the ETF versus open-end and closed-end mutual funds and identify positive and negative aspects of these investment instruments. This work describes the characteristics of the ETF, the advantages and disadvantages for small and large institutional investors, different investment strategies for trading ETFs. In the analytical part of the thesis is carried out the research of the effectiveness and efficiency of investment in the Russian market today using selected mutual funds and ETFs.
